A unique and memorable weekend in many ways has come to an end for the FX Racing Weekend championships, which simultaneously hosted a series of adrenaline-fueled challenges at Italy’s two most prestigious racetracks. While the Imola Circuit hosted the fourth round of the FX Pro Series and FX1/FX2 championships in the international context of the European Le Mans Series, just as much excitement came from the Temple of Speed in Monza, where the competitors of X-GT4 Italy, Supersport GT, Legends Cars, and Lotus Cup Italia put on a show with a series of thrilling battles from the first to the last meter.
The highlight of the FX weekend was undoubtedly the return of the Italian closed-wheel series, which, at the third round of the season in Monza, saw a one-two finish by Mark Kastelic and Lorenzo Tocci, who, driving the Lema Racing Mercedes AMG GT4, won both races at the Monza track, vaulting to the top of the provisional standings. Completing the podium in Race 1 were the two Lotus Emira GT4s driven by Schiavone-Copetti and Coldani-Abbati, while in the second heat, the Mercedes trio at the top was also completed by Kyam Potez (Lema Racing) taking second place and Wagner-Lasagni (CZ Bassano Racing) taking third. The Mazza-Quondamcarlo duo dominated the GT4 Cup class, winning the Ligier JS2 R.
